The Indian Medical Association (IMA) hosted their 100th National Medical Conference, IMA NATCON ‘25, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from December 26-28, 2025. The conference was organised by the IMA Gujarat state branch in association with the Ahmedabad Medical Association. IMA NATCON 2025 brought together more than 5000 doctors, healthcare leaders, policy makers and subject experts from across India and abroad, making it one of the largest gatherings of the healthcare industry.

Several cutting edge scientific programs and workshops were held throughout the conference by experienced and esteemed speakers from across the nation. Various national and international dignitaries including government officials paid tributes to doctors for their services.

It was an honor for Medigence as Mrs. Meeta Patel, Director, was a part of the Round Table at IMA NATCON 2025, to discuss ‘The Next Leap in Healthcare Quality: What Hospitals, Doctors and NABH Must Co-create’.

The conversations around healthcare quality went well beyond compliance, emphasizing shared ownership, trust, and collaboration between clinicians, hospitals, and the national accreditation body—NABH. The session, led by Dr Rizwan Koita, Chairman NABH, Dr Atul Mohan Kochhar, CEO NABH and Dr Parth Desai – COO KD Hospitals, offered valuable insights into the various initiatives being driven by NABH to strengthen healthcare quality across the country such as NABH Digital Health Standards, NABH-certified HIS/EMR products, the NABH Mitra Empanelment Program, NABH Yatra, and several other forward-looking initiatives.

Encouragingly, IMA Gujarat & Ahmedabad Medical Association has extended its support to NABH to conduct awareness, mentorship, and capacity-building programs across the state, especially to create deeper outreach in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

Medigence is grateful to have been invited as the only Healthcare Consulting partner for such an esteemed and significant event hosted by the IMA. Medigence’s participation was driven by a shared goal, to understand evolving healthcare needs and to contribute through discussions that shape better systems and outcomes.

For Medigence, this event was home away from home as most attending doctors were previous or current clients and currently were gathered in the same arena and reflected on the journeys they have built together and are continually doing it. It was a nostalgic moment for Medigence to meet hundreds of its esteemed clients through this gathering.

Medigence and IMA have a long-standing relationship spanning over a decade. IMA was the official associate partner of H.O.Con (Healthcare Outlook Conclave) previous year, an event organised by Medigence that discussed and reflected upon the betterment of the healthcare industry. Medigence has also participated and contributed with IMA for NABH awareness programs to further the cause of accreditation for standardised quality of care and safety for patients. IMA has great leaders and legends in their history and their present, and both entities have always stood side-by-side with each other to make healthcare better and accessible.
Medigence also encouraged other industry players to participate in this significant conference as Medigence deeply believes in the betterment of the healthcare industry.

Events like IMA NATCON 2025 reinforce why Medigence does what it does—partnering with healthcare leaders to build systems that truly work for doctors and patients alike. We are highly obliged and look forward to continuing our association with IMA and the larger medical fraternity in shaping a stronger, more resilient healthcare ecosystem.
