Why entry level NABL:

The precise number of pathology and diagnostic labs in India is unknown, although it is believed that there are around 100,000 of them. Eighty percent of them are said to be little, 18 percent are medium, and only two percent are huge. The majority of tiny laboratories undertake routine/basic testing and are located in distant places.

Rural and urban regions have unequal access to healthcare. While city dwellers can choose between public and private laboratories, rural folks have significantly fewer options.

As a result, the contribution of tiny laboratories doing basic tests to the requirements of rural and small-town populations is considerable.
The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) has issued an entry level accreditation scheme for basic composite (small) medical laboratories in an effort to encourage diagnostic laboratories to perform basic tests and adopt quality practices, thereby improving the country’s healthcare system at the grassroot level. According to a NABL announcement, in order to address deficiencies in the majority of laboratories’ quality processes, NABL has recommended launching a voluntary program for certification of small diagnostic laboratories.

Who can apply for entry level NABL ?

Any new Laboratory wishing to embark on the quality path and join the ranks of NABL-recognized healthcare institutions may apply for certification.

All public and private insurance organizations require NABL entry-level certification as a bare minimum criterion for selection and empanelment.

It is also a desired need for central government health plans such as PMJAY, Ayushman Bharat, and MAA Yojana.

Why hire a NABL consultant company for entry level NABL certificate:

Many small laboratories attempt to manage Entry Level NABL projects on their own but are unable to do so due to the steep learning curve and the time and energy necessary. This wastes a great amount of time and money. As a result of their confusion and lack of confidence, the hospital personnel and stakeholders’ morale suffers.
