The exterior of Sneh Hospital is a bold statement of contemporary healthcare architecture. The building’s elevation is defined by a rhythmic pattern of solid and void, with a strong interplay between dark gray and warm, terracotta-colored panels. This combination creates a sophisticated and welcoming aesthetic. The use of a deep overhang and a covered entrance provides both functional shelter and a clear, defined entry point. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floors bring in abundant natural light, a key element in patient recovery. Integrated signage is subtle yet clear, ensuring visitors can easily identify the hospital and key areas like the “PHARMACY,” making the building both beautiful and highly functional
A Warm Welcome
The design eschews a stark, clinical feel in favor of a natural, calming palette. The use of rich wood paneling on the walls and reception counter, combined with elegant marble-like finishes, creates a sense of sophistication and trust. The space is carefully zoned, with comfortable, dark gray seating areas offering a sense of privacy while maintaining an open feel. Layered lighting—from recessed ceiling lights to modern pendant fixtures—is used to create a soothing ambiance. Integrated planters introduce a biophilic element, adding life and a touch of nature that is proven to reduce stress and anxiety in a waiting environment.
Sanctuary for Recovery
This patient room is designed as a sanctuary for recovery, meticulously crafted to feel more like a hotel suite than a hospital room. The design moves away from the institutional aesthetic with a feature wall behind the bed adorned with a soft, abstract mural of foliage in muted tones. This artistic touch introduces a biophilic element that promotes a sense of peace and connection to nature. The space is thoughtfully organized, with a dedicated area for a sofa, allowing family members to stay comfortably. The lighting is soft and ambient, with an illuminated ceiling detail over the bed that highlights the patient’s space while providing gentle light. The color palette is calming and refined, with touches of modern art and a simple plant, all contributing to an environment that supports emotional well-being and faster healing.
